Samkhya Karika 68 talks about how when all the samkskaras are exhausted the Purusha and Prakriti separate from each other. Purusha (spirit) becomes independent of Prakriti (body) to achive its alone-ness also known as Kaivalya state.

Samkhya Karika 67 explains what happens after Prakriti has released itself. The being still remains alive a some samskaras are still remning to be deleted. Once this is achieved the being stands liberated within its life time.

Samkhya Karika 66,

Samkhya karika 66 explains the state of Purusha and PRakriti after Prakriti has attained its freedom. All aspects of Prakriti have been seen by Purusha and Prakriti has exhibited what ever it had to show. That is why there remains no desire for any further evolution in Prakriti.
